Moth Control in Westminster: what we see locally
Clothes moths are a serious problem in Westminster's homes, where wardrobes of cashmere, wool suits and silk, fitted wool carpets and antique rugs give larvae a rich food supply. Central heating lets them breed all year.
We treat moths in houses, mansion flats and dressing rooms across Mayfair, Belgravia, Marylebone and St John's Wood, and advise on specialist cleaning for valuable textiles.
We often find moth damage in dressing rooms and wardrobes of homes that are used only part of the year, where suits, cashmere and silk go undisturbed for months. Moths can also arrive with antique rugs and vintage clothing.
Where we find moths in Westminster
- Dressing rooms and wardrobes: Cashmere, wool and silk are the main target.
- Antique rugs: Larvae feed on the underside.
- Fitted wool carpets: Damage appears under furniture.
- Stored clothing: Seasonal clothes can harbour moths.
Our moth control service covers the whole of Westminster, including Bayswater, Belgravia, Covent Garden, Maida Vale, Marylebone, Mayfair, Paddington, Pimlico, Soho, St John's Wood, Victoria and Westminster, with same-day or next-day visits.
