Bed Bug Treatment in Croydon: what we see locally
East Croydon is one of the busiest stations in the country outside central London, with direct trains to Gatwick, and the borough has a huge rental market, from Victorian HMOs in Thornton Heath to new apartment towers in the town centre. That makes bed bugs a regular problem.
We treat bed bugs in family homes, private rentals, HMOs, hotels and student accommodation across Croydon. Our technicians inspect each room, treat beds, furniture, skirting boards and sockets, and return to check the infestation has gone.
Where we find bed bugs in Croydon
- HMOs in Thornton Heath and Selhurst: Shared houses with frequent moves raise the risk of bed bugs.
- Hotels near East Croydon and Gatwick routes: Travellers bring bed bugs in luggage.
- New apartment towers in the town centre: Bed bugs can spread between flats through service gaps.
- Homes with second-hand furniture: Used beds and sofas are a common source.
Our bed bug treatment service covers the whole of Croydon, including Addiscombe, Coulsdon, Croydon, Kenley, New Addington, Norbury, Purley, Sanderstead, Selhurst, Selsdon, Shirley, South Croydon and Thornton Heath, with same-day or next-day visits.
Keeping bed bugs out of Croydon homes
Check second-hand beds and sofas carefully before bringing them home, especially from online marketplaces. After travel, especially via Gatwick, unpack away from the bed and wash clothes on a hot wash. Landlords of Croydon HMOs should check rooms between tenancies.
